As our economy gets more and more unstable and our Government gets bigger and bigger, it only makes sense to stop and ask the question, "Why is American no longer being blessed by God? "I think the answer is simple. We have kicked him out of our schools, our government, our churches and even our homes. It is time to get back to the foundation of our country - God. What good is the Constitution if we no longer have godly men to follow it? The Constitution was a document authored by some of the most honorable, noble, and godly men in history. We must defend our Constitution, and educate those who serve under it what their rights are when confronted with unlawful orders that defy the Constitutional rights of the people.
We need people to help us teach others what an unconstitutional order is. Contact us now to get involved. Don't let your country die.
Meetings:
Meet Stewart Rhodes:
We will be having an "Oath Keepers only" meeting with Stewart
Rhodes on Friday, November 4th at 6PM at Lazlos - 5900 Old Cheney road in
Lincoln. Although this is an "Oath Keepers" only meeting prospective members are
welcome to attend but is not advertised as a general public meeting. This
will be an open question and answer meeting for everyone to get to know each
other and see where we are going. Note: this is a "buy your dinner"
meeting which assists us in paying for the meeting site.
There will be an Oath Keeper meeting in Grand Island on the 5th of Novemeber,
7PM, at the United Veterans Club located at 1914 West Capital Ave. Grand Island.
This event is open to all those interested in Oath Keepers and will be attended
by Stewart Rhodes.
This state wide event is scheduled for November 6th from 2-6PM at the Calvery
Community Church, 4400 N 1st Street, in Lincoln. Guest speakers will
include Stewart Rhodes, Curtis Bowers,
Ann McElhinney, John Peter “Pete” Ricketts, and Chuck Edwards. There is a cost to attend this event
($25.00 for 2 tickets) with a portion of the proceeds going to Summit

You do not have to be a current or former Oath Taker to become a member, civilians are encouraged to take our Oath, and serve in our organization.
Oath Keepers is a non-partisan association of currently serving military, reserves, National Guard, veterans, Peace Officers, and Fire Fighters who will
fulfill the Oath we swore, with the support of like minded citizens who take an Oath to stand with us, to support and defend the Constitution against all
enemies, foreign and domestic, so help us God. Our Oath is to the Constitution.

Oath Keepers is a single-mission organization which interacts with America's Military and Peace Officer personnel. Oath Keepers' purpose is very distinctly defined. It contains a three-step plan of action and initiative -
1. Reach
2. Teach
3. Inspire
Pretty simple, that. Oath Keepers seeks to "reach, teach, and inspire all Oath Takers to become Oath Keepers."
What does this all mean?
Oath Keepers seeks the attention of all active duty Military and Peace Officer personnel. Our phase one sapect requires that we reach. To get our soldiers' and peace officers' attention. To do this, Oath Keepers uses the Internet, public events, rallies and full feature services.
America's basic reality is that the Constitution created the Federal government. That means the Constitution existed before the government it created. The Constitution is the people's representation of the people to the government.
Oath Keepers points out to all whom we reach the fact that legitimate authority may be justly authoritative, the same way as an authority in the medical field might write text books for M.D. programs in the Universities. Oath Keepers notes that whenever a governmental authority is abused it tends to become authoritarian, which is quite different than exercising legitimate authority.
Authoritarianism, and the visible need to prevent its existence within the people's government, is one of the primary reasons why Oath Keepers was created. Our Founder, Stewart Rhodes, saw patterns of authoritarianism incrementally introduced during the past four Administrations, and he thought the soldier and peace officer who took the Oath, as well as the American people who support our soldier and peace officer Oath Keepers, should be made aware of this.
One aspect of Oath Keepers' teach phase includes a published listing of ten unlawful orders which Oath Keepers swear [or affirm] they shall not obey comprise a key pillar in the Oath Keeper mission. By presenting the "ten orders" Oath Keepers plants a mental meme in the American psyche, which carries with it the realization that "just following orders is no excuse", as the world learned at the Nuremberg Tribunals for Nazi war criminals.
Moreover, the meme indicates a possibility that not all orders may be lawful orders, as we saw in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina at New Orleans, and the following of unlawful orders places the soldier or peace officer at risk for criminal prosecution afterward. The UCMJ is clear in its pronouncement that military personnel are not required to follow an unlawful order.
Phase Two
In addition to active Internet use, Oath Keepers uses a high-quality printed materials program designed by Oath Keepers leadership for distribution among Military and Peace Officer personnel whom Oath Keepers has reached. These materials are spread nationally by hand to hand friendly exchanges between Americans both in and out of uniform.
Phase Three
Phase three of the Oath Keepers mission happens automatically when the first two phases are successful. The inspiration part of the mission arises in a soldier's or peace officers mind when one learns of the proper logic under-girding the Oath itself.
